Finding Possibility and Purpose in Mosaic Art
Creating mosaic art was Nancy Maloney’s respite while working in the demanding corporate world. She loves the idea of creating something from nothing. Mosaic art was the perfect outlet to give life to the peaceful yet vibrant visions in Nancy’s mind.
Nancy has been inspired by attending workshops taught by Cynthia Fisher, Sonia King, Kelley Knickerbocker, Rachel Sager, Marian Shapiro, Carol Shelkin, and Laurel Skye. She is a member of Society of American Mosaic Artists (SAMA) and Contemporary Mosaic Art (CMA) and the Sanford Art Association (SAA) Nancy retired from the corporate world and is now expanding her dreams as a life coach, specializing in working with women in transition. Her mosaic studio is on the grounds of Camp Bella Soul, a special place where nature inspires individuality, creativity, and personal growth. All proceeds from the sales of Nancy’s mosaics help nonprofits access Camp Bella Soul at no charge.
“I am all about possibilities! I love to dream, create, and discover potential in everything around me. Mosaic art is the perfect means for expressing my passions. I enjoy exploring opportunities to bring cohesive and discordant materials together to form unique perspectives. Each piece I create begins with a feeling and ends in a story. I hope you enjoy the story it creates for you.” – Nancy Maloney
